About Ironbark AI
The Origin.
Tracey Cattana is a Wiradjuri woman who was adopted in 1969 and raised in white Australia, a long way from her Country, her language, and the people she was born among. She came up in the space between two worlds, at home in both from the inside, even through the years when others were never quite sure where she belonged.
What the world tends to read as a life spent not quite fitting was, lived from within, a particular and demanding way of seeing. She learned early to read the patterns beneath things, to carry two systems of knowledge in the same mind without forcing either to give way, and to find the quiet places where they turn out to agree.

From the Gap to Ironbark.
That way of thinking became AI Learning in the Gap, built on something she kept returning to: that two of the most rigorous knowledge systems our species has produced, the Indigenous and the artificial, arrive again and again at the same conclusions on their own. When two traditions that never met reach the same place, the convergence itself becomes the argument.
The name Ironbark is drawn from the long seasons when the work asked for more than it returned. The ironbark is among the hardest timbers on this continent, a tree whose density carries it through fire when softer wood is lost. Ironbark AI gathers everything Tracey builds beneath a single roof, arranged to hand that same hard-won durability to the people who come to learn.
